The Stanford Law & Policy Review (SLPR) is now accepting submissions for Volume 37. SLPR is one of the nation’s most prominent policy journals, informing public discourse by publishing rigorous articles that analyze the intersection of the U.S. legal system with local, state, and federal policy. We welcome submissions from a broad range of political and professional perspectives.

We seek pieces offering novel insights, rigorous analysis, and concrete policy implications. Topics may include (but are not limited to): civil rights, criminal justice, education, environmental policy, healthcare, housing, technology, labor, national security, and tax.

Submission Requirements:

  • Articles should be 15,000–25,000 words, including footnotes.
  • Include a manuscript, abstract, and CV for each author.
  • Citations should conform to Bluebook (22nd ed.).
  • We accept submissions from academics, practitioners, and policymakers. Current J.D. and LL.M. students and undergraduates are not eligible.

Timeline:
We review submissions on a rolling basis through September 15, 2025.
